Saguaro National Park is so big it's split on two sides of Tucson
I love seeing whole hillsides of Saguaro forest! The desert here is crowded with all sorts of cacti, trees, shrubs, grasses, etc that thrive in the dry climate - generally anyway. The prickly pear that I've been seeing looks pretty dried out in this drought.
Saguaro National Park - East is not too far from my campground.

These are only a few of the over 20 varieties of cholla (there's also pencil cholla, silver cholla, and the ever popular Christmas Cactus Cholla!)
